Your stay includes a full 2 hour, thrilling stargazing session for all abilities from 10-100 years old, with our fabulous, qualified stargazing hosts from the impressive Battlesteads Observatory.
Find your way around the twinkling stars of Northumberland, gazing in wonder at the Milky Way and the universe beyond. Learn how to guide yourself around some of the most impressive aspects of the night sky; constellations, features of the moon, planets and other things such as aurorae, star clusters and the Andromeda Galaxy.
These sessions are for small groups; you will have plenty of time and opportunity to chat with your astronomer and ask lots of questions!
The sessions will go ahead whatever the weather; observing the skies can only go ahead if it's clear but you'll be pleased to know that all events go ahead in any weather conditions.
